Our Approach
At Medicom, all our decisions are guided by our mission: to make the world safer and healthier by providing effective and reliable protection. Our approach to social responsibility is based on the three areas of focus that are most critical to our organization: community, climate and commerce. These three priorities reflect the opportunities and risks that have the greatest impact on our business, our stakeholders, the environment and society.
Climate
Medicom is committed to implementing solutions to reduce its environmental footprint. Through better waste management, in-depth product life cycle analysis, meeting our carbon footprint reduction targets and developing sustainable products, we are continuously improving our processes to become more responsible every day.
Commerce
As a responsible and sustainable leader, Medicom respects human rights and aligns its business practices with its core values. We monitor our environmental and social impact, all the way through our supply chains, to improve our collective impact. Our business practices are guided by company policies and codes of conduct that set clear ethical expectations for our employees, suppliers and business partners across the world.
Community
Whether it's through the social causes we support or through donations of materials, money or time, we are always looking for opportunities to give back to the communities we protect. Our commitment to the community also includes a healthy, safe and inclusive work environment for our employees. Medicom regularly invests in training so that employees can develop their full potential.
WORD FROM THE CEO
Medicom has experienced tremendous transformation over the past few years, particularly during the pandemic. With our CSR strategy deeply rooted in our values of accountability, teamwork, customer centricity and empathy, we felt the need to update our ESG criteria, and formalize them into a multi-year CSR strategy.
We assessed them according to two aspects: their impact on our business activities and their importance to our stakeholders. This process has highlighted the ESG topics that are most important to our organization.
We are proud to present them to you. I am confident that our updated ESG criteria will better serve our mission to make the world a safer and healthier place by providing effective and reliable protection.

ALIGNING WITH THE UN'S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
HELPING TO ACCELERATE THE MOVEMENT
Medicom believes that business has a critical role to play in contributing solutions to the “universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives of everyone, everywhere,” as stated in the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Agenda.
Our business activities contribute to achieving many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN. Advancing action to meet the Goals is an organizational priority that we are actively pursuing.
In addition, with an eye towards continuous improvement, we are constantly assessing how we can further integrate actions to meet the Goals set out in the UN’s global agenda into our business activities.
